Designed, manufactured and installed by CDS Airtek, this range of ovens for carbon fibre, curing glass fibre and other materials is available in both batch and conveyorised configurations.
These ovens are typically compliant to AMS2750E meaning they will meet the relevant temperature uniformity and will have the corresponding control system and data logging. We can further enhance the control system to provide the very best curing cycle control.
Airteks’s Curing Ovens are constructed to the same high standards as our other oven systems, we have designed curing ovens and stoving ovens which are in use in a diverse range of industries where close control of temperatures and humidity is required during the production process.
A Curing oven is used to cure composite materials and coatings, Curing refers to the toughening or hardening of a polymer material through the cross linking of polymer chains. Composite materials are used in high performance products which are required to be lightweight yet strong to cope with harsh conditions i.e. aerospace, automotive and defence industries.
